Sponsors and Curators
The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!
If you're a manufacturer, or just a big collector and you want to help support the Museum drop me at line at chimera@yoyomuseum.com

From henrys-online.de:
"Henrys Axys Yo-Yos - All HENRYS Yo-Yos Axys have the “Quick-trick”. This patented technology allows the adjustment of the yo-yo gap width in no time and makes new tricks possible within the game. One simple movement makes the string gap wider or narrower: Just turn both sides slightly against each other – and then go ahead!
Viper (Axys)
The Butterfly Yo-Yo par excellence! Its soft and springy half-shells are comfortably caught and nonetheless extremely robust. They are indestructible even by unintentional ground contacts. The Viper Yo-Yo consists of specifically shaped, non-wearing precision hubs made of silver anodised aluminium and a smooth-running precision ball bearing – The highest level of technology for maximal performance. Renowned top quality. Made in Germany. Yo-yo includes a detailed instruction with basic hints and tricks."
From yoyorewind.com:
"Henrys - Viper AXYS
The famous off-string yo-yo with an aluminum hub and rubber ring.
The Viper is from German juggling company Henrys, their first yo-yo. The mostly rubber body makes it extremely durable, with a soft catch that is easy on your hands, also ideal for young players. Because of its properties, a dropped Viper will jump straight back up rather than fly away, giving you more time practicing than chasing your yo-yo. This feature has spread to become a standard for off string yo-yos.
The first Viper came out during the first Hyper Yo-Yo Boom, so old-school players will probably feel an instant connection with the new Viper. This model features the Henrys AXYS system, allowing you to switch out the axle and adjust the gap for a different feel. The loaded Speed Explosion bearing gives a soft, smooth feel and response. Further improvements include raising the response area around the axle. Available in yellow, green, turquoise, blue, black, glow (seen in this exhibit), white, red, and orange."
Yo-yo was covered by US patent 6,080,035.
This updated Viper from 2021 accepted either the Henrys Axys Speed Explosion modular axle (pre-installed size D ball bearing axle) or the optional Slider modular axle (a plastic, transaxle bearing sleeve).
