That’s what the Pickaxe is for. Have fun!" What of the characters engraved on the yo-yo? The symbols seen on side A and B of the yo-yo are identical. They are Unown letters from the Pokémon franchise. Unown is a Pokémon species introduced in Generation II (Gold and Silver versions), and it has 28 different forms, each resembling a letter of the Latin alphabet (A–Z), plus a question mark (?) and an exclamation point (!). The symbols around the ring of the Pickaxe appear to be a decorative engraving of these Unown characters. I never bothered to decode the symbols to know what it was actually saying.
