The Black Bean in translucent matte orange was an obscure looping yo-yo manufactured by YoYo Empire of China in collaboration with BLK SENS (Black Sense) based out of Hong Kong. Little is known about Black Sense. They began in 2012 and mainly designed yo-yos and collaborated with brands such as YoYo Empire. However, their business and activities also included public yo-yo performances, class teaching of yo-yo tricks, and a gathering place for yo-yo players of the Master Piece YoYo Club. At one time, Black Sense had an online yo-yo shop that started in May 2013 but the website died off sometime in late 2016.
The yo-yo in this exhibit is not a so-called Yomega Raider-type, which is rare for a looping-only model. Instead, the yo-yo has more of a YoYoJam Sunset Trajectory feeling and profile.
Because the thickness is a little thin and the edge is high, the loop control is different compared to a Raider, but the response is good and the point is that looping is easy to do.
A set of blue spacers with a different thickness from the pre-installed silver spacers were included with the yo-yo so you could adjust the string gap to your liking.
