Sponsors and Curators
The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!
If you're a manufacturer, or just a big collector and you want to help support the Museum drop me at line at chimera@yoyomuseum.com

A Yomega Chara Brain containing two miniature characters -- in this case, Elmo and Zoe -- licensed from Sesame Workshop. The characters were encapsulated in one halve; the other halve contained Yomega's Power Brain auto-return mechanism. The yo-yo was distributed by Yodel Co., Ltd. Of Japan. Cookie Monster is seen with a plate of cookies on its lap and Grover is carrying overhead a serving plate of cookies with a glass of milk.
There were three different Chara Brain yo-yos that you could collect in the Sesame Street series:
• Elmo & Zoe contained in a translucent red body
• Cookie Monster & Grover (seen in this exhibit) contained in a translucent blue body
• Big Bird & Oscar the Grouch contained in a translucent yellow body
Oddly enough, the package front is in English and the package back is in Japanese.
Besides the Sesame Street series, Yodel distributed two other series using the same Power Brain yo-yo with enclosed miniature figures:
Gumby & Friends
• Gumby & Pokey contained in a translucent green body
• Gumby & Prickle contained in a translucent red body
• The Blockheads contained in a black body
PaRappa the Rapper
• PaRappa (Parappa the rapper, the hip-hop hound himself. Catch phrase "You gotta believe!")
& Sunny Funny (PaRappa the rapper character) contained in a translucent orange body
• PaRappa & PJ Berri (PJ is a DJ at a night club in the Parappa series. PJ is Parappa's best friend but has an eating and sleeping disorder that makes him seem distant.) contained in a translucent purple body
• PaRappa & Chop Chop Master Onion (Chop Chop Master Onion is the owner of Fruites Dojo in the game Parappa The Rapper. He is the first rapper Parappa encounters.) contained in a black body
Original retail price: $12 US.
Any of these encapsulated miniature rubber character Yomega yo-yos are challenging to find.
