A hand-drawn manga-style poster by a yo-yo fan and talented artist from Hong Kong at a yo-yo event that was also in Hong Kong. Circa about 1999.
Clockwise, starting at the top, were yo-yo professionals Jennifer Baybrook, Alex Garcia, Alan Batangan, and Ross Pascual, all members of Team High Performance.
Recalling the event, Jennifer said, "I'm pretty sure Alex found his first girlfriend there and maybe his first kiss at that event. He was so excited he jumped into this giant box being goofy. It was a funny moment!"
Bottom of poster says, "Presented by Priscilla, Tracy, Mari" (spelling of name?)
(Jennifer: When I have a chance to go through my photo album I could probably find the name of the event, date, etc. I bet I have a picture of us to match the poster.) | |
