The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

Linkx is Japan Technology's first responsive string trick yo-yo made with a dual rim, polycarbonate body. The body profile is nearly identical to their $100 aluminum Origin model. Came stock with a half spec ball bearing axle for responsive play. The half spec bearing lets you use it like a traditional, original play yo-yo. You can, however, replace the half spec bearing with your own full spec bearing without the need to use a longer axle. The full spec bearing increases the string gap and lets you play it dead (unresponsive). To my knowledge, this is the first plastic yo-yo with dual rims. The strategy behind the use of dual rims is to create a better balanced yo-yo to produce longer spin times.

Original retail price: $30 US.
