The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

1936 Duncan Yo-Yo Winner cloth patch. This patch marked the first year of this design that used solid embroidery stitching to create the lettering, numbers, and star, and spelling "Yo-Yo" with a hyphen.

The design and color scheme on this patch was used by Duncan from 1936-1943 and again, for a brief period, in 1948. At some point in 1948, Duncan kept the year-dated design going forward, but the red and blue colors became brighter and the white embroidered star was replaced with a yellow embroidered star.
