Sponsors and Curators
The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!
If you're a manufacturer, or just a big collector and you want to help support the Museum drop me at line at chimera@yoyomuseum.com

A mini B (Butterfly) version of the Tom Kuhn RD-1. A wooden ball bearing butterfly, but reduced in size. Uses an uncommon size I bearing (.125" x .312" x .140"); take apart design, and Tom Kuhn-branded "Turbo Disk" fabric response pads. It was touted as having "big play in a small package". Similar dull banalities are claimed by every manufacturer of mini, undersized yo-yos. Came with a wooden, black high-rise display stand and pre-installed weight rings.
The upper portion of the once clear plastic packaging has turned orange over time. This discoloring was most likely caused by a degradation reaction between the plastic and the yo-yo paint. The yo-yo was stored away from any light source and is still in mint condition.
If you find this yo-yo being sold in anything other than it's original plastic canister, the yo-yo has been tampered with and should not be considered new or mint.
Collected October 9, 2004.
Original retail price: $25 US.
