The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

This is the original logo die stamp used to make the Smithsonian Institution yo-yos from Hummingbird. The Smithsonian custom was a larger order for Hummingbird, and one of the more popular advertising yo-yos. The logo was hot stamped metallic, as the shallow logo and machining suggest.

The logo is etched in reverse on the plate, and the plate was pressed hard against the wood to impress the logo. A one-of-a-kind Hummingbird collectible.
