Sponsors and Curators
The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

Duncan's only string pack that contained a small disc of soft wax. You lightly rubbed the wax over the entire length of string or just to the string loop that went around the axle. Waxing cotton string was supposed to extend spin times and prolong string life.

It's interesting that no yo-yo manufacturer or yo-yo string maker has ever sold waxed yo-yo string, akin to waxed shoe laces that you can still buy today.

See these other string packs that included wax:
• Russell Yo-Yo - 3 replacement string & wax
• Jack Russell - Replacement Strings with wax
