The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

The BIST Bistone Clock was an unusual yo-yo for its time: there was no hub, no bearing, and no separate axle. It was made from a single chunk of aluminum much like the wooden one-piece ProYo Roadster. There is a stock response system of half a Dif-e-yo pad on one halve. The maker likely used tweezers to seat the half pad. It would be difficult to replace. String gap is a fixed width. Came packaged in a grey velvet bag; yo-yo only, no string.

Besides being a one-piece aluminum yo-yo, it is made even more unique with a hole in the center... just like a Lifesaver candy.

B.I.S.T. or Best Italian Spinning Tools made their debut in 2009 but quickly disappeared from the yo-yo scene a few years later. Today, they are primarily remembered for having created prototypes of yo-yos with unique, unusual designs. That is, designs that were never put into production or sold publicly, such as the smallest metal ball bearing yo-yo in the world -- at the time -- in 2011. The yo-yo, however, was never put into production; it was nothing more than a personal pet project of the owner. (As an aside, the current record for the smallest production ball bearing yo-yo in the world is the Sturm Panzer Secret Prototype at 10.97mm diameter.)
