The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

Three Cheerio Egyptian Fibre strings for 10 cents. The price and number of strings included in this string pack, and the fact that it is made in the U.S.A. (U.S.A. Duncan bought Canadian Cheerio in 1954) suggests that it is from the mid 1950s to very early 1960s.

See the actual Cheerio District Champion patch depicted in the lower right on the front of the pack. The boy pictured on the front of the pack is wearing a v-neck sweater vest with the Cheerio District Champion sewn on the front.

Compare this red background version of the string pack design with the blue background version.

Made in U.S.A. by Cheerio Toy Inc., Buffalo, New York.
