The Wolf was a wing-shaped ball-bearing yo-yo with a rounded profile and that was quite similar to Tom Kuhn's RD-1 model from 2003. However, unlike the RD-1, the Wolf did not have a take-apart design. It used two metric nylon lock nuts to hold the yo-yo together, requiring a tool to take it apart. The yo-yo was made by Play Giocattoli of Italy (Giocattoli is the Italian word for toys), now known as playjuggling.com. It came in natural wood with a clear coat. Accessories included an extra wooden axle, instruction booklet, and two spare cotton strings.

The Wolf likely came about between 2004 to 2006.
