The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

SPINGADGET Buddy Orange is a special edition of SPINGADGET.

Buddy Orange is the signature color of Japanese yoyo writer Masaya.

He has been supporting beginners in their yoyo life for over 20 years and contributed to the promotion of SPINGADGET when it was released.

Buddy Orange holds the story of his life.

The first overseas-made yoyo he ever bought was an orange-colored Duncan Butterfly. It quickly became his buddy.

He decided on the signature yoyo color out of respect for that yoyo. Hence, “Buddy” and “Orange.”

He also designed the logo, which features his trademark sunglasses and butterfly illustrations.

He chose not to print his name on it to encourage more people to play freely.

Additionally, the logo is the first UV print in the SPINGADGET series, a highly durable printing method.

The first batch sold out quickly, and new batches have been continuously available since then.
