CYYC was founded around 2008 by Chris Mikulin and others based in Chico, California—home to the National Yo-Yo Museum and former home of the U.S. National Yo-Yo Contest. They made precision-machined aluminum yo-yos designed for advanced string tricks. Some of their popular models included the Bulldog, Heavy Hitter, Route 66, Manimal, and others.
