The Coca-Cola - Pause - Go Refreshed yo-yo, manufactured by Matsui Gaming Machine in 2022 for Japan's Freshthings brand, is a high-quality plastic model equipped with a ball bearing axle. Part of the Coca-Cola Yo-Yo Glow Collection from 2022, it featured glow-in-the-dark rims—though the side caps did not glow.
This yo-yo pays tribute to the classic design of the original Russell Coca-Cola yo-yos, with the same iconic bulging sides. However, unlike the vintage fixed-axle models, this Coca-Cola model could be unscrewed, letting you untangle knots or replace the ball bearing axle as needed. For those who wanted more responsive play like original yo-yos, looping oil could be applied to the bearing. Officially licensed, this model gave you nostalgic appeal with updated, modern performance.
