The YoYoFactory Retro Response Brake Pad and String Set included two retro response pads (also know as brake pads) and five polyester yellow-and-black strings. The cork-based pads were specifically designed to fit the YoYoFactory Turbo Grind Machine yo-yo from 2023 and other Playmaxx/ProYo bearing yo-yos from the yo-yo boom era (1997-2001) era that used brake pad response systems such as the Turbo Bumble Bee and the Cold Fusion.

This set was ideal for restoring or maintaining your vintage Playmaxx models.
