The Filipino Come and Go Yeaux-Yeaux was the fifth release from Cajun Spinner’s, a boutique wooden fixed-axle yo-yo company based in Huntsville, Alabama. Released on March 4, 2023, this handcrafted yo-yo was made from maple wood and featured a three-piece construction. The body showcases a candy swirl multi-color paint design, complemented by a scallop-edged, five-color vinyl sticker on one half.

This model came in the following colors:
• Multi-color swirl
• Black and white swirl (seen in this exhibit)
• Purple and green swirl

From John Myshrall, owner of Cajun Spinner's:
"The fifth release in our lineup is the Filipino Come and Go. The word ‘yo-yo’ originates from Tagalog, meaning ‘come and go.’ The Tagalog people make up one-third of the Philippines' population. This release honors the many skilled Filipino demonstrators who played a pivotal role in popularizing the yo-yo in the United States during the 1920s and beyond.

Cajun Spinner's produced 10 units in each of the following designs:
• Candy Swirl (red, yellow, blue, black, white)
• Candy Swirl (purple, green, white)
• Candy Swirl (black, white; seen in this exhibit)

Each Yeaux-Yeaux featured a unique hand-painted pattern, making every unit one-of-a-kind."

Each Filipino Come and Go Yeaux-Yeaux was individually numbered in its eBay listing. Buyers using the Buy It Now option could specify their first and second color choices by way of a note to the seller. The listing was updated after each purchase, but sales were ultimately first-come, first-served based on availability.
