YoYo Empire's Wingrail is a "cup of victory" that truly lives up to its name. This unique yo-yo offers more than just play—it transforms into a fun and practical display item after a competition. At first glance, it might seem like a novelty yo-yo, but its performance is anything but ordinary. Featuring an ultra-wide design with bimetal (double rim) construction, it delivers an enjoyable play experience.

Released by YoYo Empire, the ultra-wide design is surprisingly easy to use, offering an appealing twist for fans of creative yo-yo styles. For those who remember the yo-yo boom in China around 2010, this 2022 release feels like a nostalgic yet modern tribute to the wide shapes that once predominated yo-yo play.

The package included two parts: the yo-yo itself, and a single pedestal. Together, they let you assemble a single cup—or, by purchasing an additional pedestal, you can create a matching set of two. Worried about running out of shafts? No problem—the set thoughtfully included a spare shaft. The pedestal attaches securely using the yo-yo’s shaft (even accommodating bearings), ensuring it functions reliably as a cup (though hygiene might be a concern if used for beverages; not food grade).

Despite its versatility, the yo-yo’s play performance is no afterthought. The design is serious and well-executed, making it an excellent choice for fans of ultra-wide yo-yos. Whether you actively played or just wanted to display it as a unique collectible, this yo-yo is a standout piece.
