The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

The Pro-Firefly was a custom design sold only at Dave's Skill Toys online store. The artwork was designed by Scarecrow, Matt Carter. Matt used artwork that was previously used as a web graphic at skilltoys.com and created this unusual sidecap design. This yo-yo carried the web address of yoyodave.com, because this was a hybrid product, not made completely by Playmaxx. The yo-yo is a Pro-fire GT and the sidecaps were made by Playmaxx as well. A bee bearing was installed rather than the standard brass transaxle. The light kits were made by Spintastics for their light up yo-yos, including the Firefly. Hence the name of the hybrid, Pro-fire + Firefly, for "Pro-Firefly". The lightup kits were each installed by the staff at skilltoys.com, creating an unusual and high performance lightup. Only about 30 of these were made.
