The Mandala 6.1 was a general release from Tom Kuhn Custom Yo-Yos, with artwork by Oke Rosgana. Only butterfly shaped models were made. The artwork was a reverse burn of the art of the Mandala 6.0 that came about 6 months before.

At the time, the company had decided to not produce any standard shaped No Jives, because they did not sell as well. And believe it or not, they were not fine sanding both sides of the yo-yo halves. That is why many of the standard No Jives look rough on the logo side.

When Oke was making art for my special projects, I suggested a detailed mandala design that just looked pretty... no influence of some culture. He came up with these. I liked them, but decided not to run them as one of my customs. I suggested he offer the art to Tom Kuhn directly. This release was the result.
