The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

Crucial's "Half & Half" made out of dyed Delrin. Crucial began in 2007 by Paul Yath, a multi-champion yo-yo player and former member of Team Buzz-On of Buzz-On Industries.

You can swap out the SPR kit on the Half & Half to install different bearing sizes or response pads. The SPR Kit in the Half and Half is a size C flat bearing with stock white Crucial-branded "Ghost [response] stickers." Ghost stickers are the same size as K-Pad Large Broad response pads.

The body design of the Half & Half is very similar to the DV8 yo-yo by Buzz-On Industries. Also, the Half & Half went through four different prototype models before Crucial released it in August, 2010. The Half & Half coloring in this exhibit may have been a prototype or an alternate released version. Raw Delrin is either black or white and the Half & Half was originally released in white. If you know more about this colored version, let us know!

Also worth noting is that the Half & Half was sold standalone; no packaging.
