The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

The Smothers Brothers Yo-Yo Man was released in response to the return of the Smothers Brothers comedy hour to prime time television. One of the highlights of the show every week was Tom Smother's Yo-Yo Man routine. This model was a big success to Hummingbird, and helped drive the mid 80's yo-yo craze.

A favorite of mine, since their show and yo-yo, sparked my interest in the hobby, and led eventually to my web sites, store, and this museum.

Pictured is a second release of the Yo-Yo Man model. The Second release included "Hummingbird" on the logo, and no outer ring around the Yo-Yo Man logo. The reverse side "Smothers Brothers" logo remained the same in both releases.

Both logos were Gold Foil. Also check memorabilia to see the original logo die that made this yo-yo.
