John Higby, Mr.Yodel, had done a number of his uniquely painted Yo-Yos for Playmaxx before the Higby GT, but this is the one that really made his yo-yos well known.

The Higby GT is a clear Bee GT painted on the inside surfaces. The plastic was a clear lexan plastic, and unique because clear Bee GTs were never released. All from this test run went to John Higby for his art. And what dazzling works of art he turned them into. Different logos front and back. While some of John's later work added more and more detail, and unique designs, nothing has surpassed the stunning bright appearance of this early model.
