The Cold Fusion GT was concave version of the popular Cold Fusion from Playmaxx. Concave models were much more popular than standard models in the late 90's, so this release was a very popular yo-yo, and one of the highest priced yo-yos ever, selling retail for $150. Shaped and styled like the Bee GT with Brake Pad technology (BPT), this yo-yo was one of the best players of its day. Sold in a deluxe Cold Fusion tin with accessories.
The Cold Fusion GT was produced until about the last year of Playmaxx, when it was replaced by the Isotope Cold Fusion concave models.
Logos varied slightly. Playmaxx frequently put their patent numbers on the logos, and number of patents changed as the years passed. The logos on the Cold Fusion models were laser engraved onto the anodized surface.
