Spintastics decided to discontinue the Eclipse in September of 2004 because of production difficulties with the side caps. The last 250 made show off a new logo, the last logo design.
The Eclipse is a wide body concave configuration with bearing axle and metal weight rings. Uses Friction stickers for the response system. Comes with two extra sets of weight rings, a metal and a rubber set. It was designed as a low response, wide string trick yo-yo, customizable to many different configurations.
