The MSF 2.2 was a model based on the original Mega SpinFaktor from YoYoJam, and like the original, it was also a signature model of Rick Wyatt. This one was made for one reason, to break the longest spin record of the time. The record required a production model be used. 100 of these were released, and no two are alike because of the marbling in the plastic.
The MSF 2.2 also used a ceramic bearing. Ceramic bearings have little response, but do not heat up and slow as the bearing spins. Which made it ideal for this model. While no response system was built in, it did have the pattern of 4 recessed holes around the bearing, like many older YoYoJam models, which acts as a weak starburst.
