After Cheerio was purchased by Duncan in the US, the Canadian Cheerio company continued to produce yo-yos for almost 10 years. Pictured here is Cheerio's answer to the popular US Duncan Satelites.
The yo-yo is jewelled like the earlier Canadian Cheerio Glitterspin, with 4 stones but not as far from center as the US Glitterspins. Perhaps Cheerio put a new spin on the Glitterspin by renaming it, and using the popularity of the catch word of the time, "Satellite".
The sticker on this one is worn a bit, and difficult to read. It reads "Official Jewelled Cheerio Satellite Yo-Yo Top Tournament Model."
