The Duncan Sportsline series from 2003 were plastic, fixed axle yo-yos in the shape of the balls used in various sports and activities. It has been suggested that the molds were originally used by Festival in the 70's, and were reborn with some slight "Duncan" modifications.
At the time, starting January 2003, Duncan was making the following special offer:
"Collect the Limited Edition 8-Ball yo-yo by mail only. Simply send us original proof of purchase of any combination of the current Duncan Sportsline yo-yos [baseball, basketball, football, golf ball, soccer ball, and tennis ball], and we'll send you the 8-Ball yo-yo for free. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. While supplies last."
The 8-Ball in this exhibit is a hard to find model.
Original retail price: $4 USD (Sportsline 2003 yo-yos).
