THP Hawaii members are team members who were promoted to the ranks of THP in the state of Hawaii. Members are not required to be Hawaii residents.
Established in 1996, Team High Performance (THP) represented yo-yo players who demonstrated mastery of the highest level of yo-yo tricks. In addition, student members must do well academically, and remain in a professional attitude at all THP events.
THP dominated World and National yo-yo competition in the mid to late 90s. THP champions included 1998 World 2-Handed Champion Jennifer Baybrook, 1998 U.S. National 2-Handed Champion Alex Garcia, and 1998 U.S. National Single-A Champion Sky Kiyabu.
