The C3yoyodesign Initiator World Champion Collection released in September 2021. The Initiator looping yo-yo was updated with an improved spacer and axle system.

"This is the gold-plated special edition Initiator. It has a special C3 world champion logo on the side face. Overall, it is nearly identical to the standard edition Initiator, but the addition of the layer of gold plating does slightly narrow the gap. Also, because it's gold-plated, we recommend being careful if you intend to play with it, as collisions and errors may result in damage to the plating. Some minor spotting or bubbling may be on the gold surface, a result of the plating process. Thank you for understanding.
C3's first looping yo-yo has been redesigned thanks to the input from player feedback. The biggest improvements have been in the spacer and axle system, making it even easier to handle and maintain. Right out of the box, Initiator is a perfect fit for players new to looping, and by switching to the metal spacer you can get competition-level looping performance with minimum effort.
The new axle is much stronger than the original Initiator, made from a more robust material that is much harder to break. Thanks to this, C3 has also reduced the chance of your yo-yo gaps getting messed up due to a mid-air collision. As for the performance itself, it does not matter what your level, or what kind of looping trick you attempt, the Initiator is a solid throw for players of all kinds. C3 has made great strides towards the ideal looping yo-yo with their new Initiator.
Of course, you can modify the responsiveness of the yo-yo with looping oil. K-String normal works best for us!"
The C3yoyodesign - Initiator (World Champion Collection) included six different designs commemorating players from Japan in 1A, 4A, and 5A division world competitions. The polycarbonate bodies have a beautiful, shiny gold plating with black and white print design on the side caps. Uses a size K ball bearing axle, starburst response, and gold spacers.
The version in this exhibit honors Sora Ishikawa, the 2018 World Yo-Yo Champion in 5A (freehand) competition. It's not clear why this signature edition of the Initiator -- a looping yo-yo for 2A play -- was made to honor a freehand yo-yo player.
