C3yoyodesign - Initiator 2021 - Ryo Yamashi player edition in pink with pearl powder and comes with gold metal spacers.
The Initiator was updated with an improved spacer and axle system though updated from what version is not known.
C3yoyodesign's first looping yo-yo was redesigned based on player feedback. The biggest improvements made were with the spacer and axle system. These two changes helped make the yo-yo easier to handle and maintain. The Initiator is intended for players who are new to looping, and by switching to the metal spacer you can get competition-level looping performance with minimum effort.
The new axle is stronger than the original Initiator from 2015, made from a more robust material that is harder to break. Thanks to these characteristics, the yo-yo has reduced the chance of the string gap changing due to a mid-air collision with another yo-yo or an object. This all-around 2A (looping) yo-yo plays great from beginner to advanced, no matter the looping trick you are trying to perform.
You can change the responsiveness of the yo-yo by adding oil lubricant to the bearing. Also, K-String Normal seems to work best with the yo-yo.
Ryo Yamashi was a Japanese 2A (looping) competitor who was active from about 2005 to 2015. He was also a member of Team Yomega, a group of professional yo-yo players sponsored by the American yo-yo maker Yomega.
