The novelty French song She was playing yo-yo with lyrics and music by someone who went by the name "Charlys". Likely published sometime in the early 1930s by Palace Edition, located at R. Raillet 12, Passage of Industry, in Paris 10, France.
This sheet music came out when there was an on-going yo-yo boom across North America and in parts of Europe in the early 1930s.
The chorus is as follows:
She was playing yo-yo,
Pretty Yeyette,
She was playing yo-yo,
It was funny.
