The plastic, fixed metal axle Duncan Competition was the US Duncan Tournament made and branded for the Canadian market. Several things to notice:
• The front and back of the card used bi-lingual text; English and French.
• The front and back of the card refers to the yo-yo as a Return Top. The term yo-yo is a registered trademark in Canada.
• The usual Fleur-de-lis imagery found on the face of an Imperial has been replaced with a hot stamped maple leaf.

There was a pre-printed price on the front, upper-right corner of the card, but it was cut off for some reason.

Original retail price: likely $1 to $2 US.

Compare to the following yo-yos that are all from the same time period:
• Black Duncan Tournament Yo-Yo
• White Duncan Tournament Yo-Yo
• White Duncan Competition Return Top
