Ohio-based Maui Toys was started in 1998 by Brian Kessler whose father patented the product that later became known as the Hula Hoop in 1950. Jakks Pacific, the world's third largest toy company, acquired Maui Toys in April 2018.
Sky Bouncer took the classic yo-yo and introduced a bouncing design that makes yo-yoing even more fun. It's a combination ball and yo-yo. Tricks include the Double Helix, Cyclone, The Hammer. Uses the high bounce of a ball combined with traditional yo-yo play.
This original Sky Bouncer Yo-Yo debuted in 2014.
Original colors were hot pink, orange (2018), blue, yellow (2018), neon green, purple.
