Duncan Freehand AL - 5A Edition with red anodized body, black side caps, and white 5A logo imprint.
Nearly every yo-yo from the run of each Duncan Freehand AL edition exhibited white manufacturing dust on the outside rim area of one or both halves. The dust was not cleaned off before being boxed and shipped to sellers. Fortunately, you can easily wipe off the dust with a soft cloth. See the Profile picture for an example of the white dust.

"A year in the making and too many revisions to count; we funneled it all down to one beautiful, powerful, and iconic design. Our newest yo-yo, the Freehand AL!
We updated the Freehand design many times over the years. So what is different this time? We added an aluminum cap, improved the shape and weight distribution. The result? It’s a massive upgrade! We initially thought that aesthetics is the critical factor here, but it turns out that the spin-time is equally essential. We flattened the area near the padded seat to hold intricate long combos, as well as designing the body to be a semi-organic shape to accommodate changing directional tricks to any style of play. Using an aluminum cap really separated the Freehand AL from any of the current yo-yos in the market right now.
A bang for your buck and a must yo-yo to add on your collection. Freehand AL comes with a licensed Dif-E-Yo KonKave Bearing and Rapid Ball counterweight (color may vary)."

"Way back in 2004, when I (Steve Brown) still worked for Duncan Toys, we released a pair of Freehand Zero yoyos with special artwork that I designed. This is a reproduction of that art and colorway on the new Freehand AL yoyo.
Each yoyo is packaged with a brand new delrin counterweight by Duncan, and a random 3D printed counterweight from 5Ayoyo.com.
Limited to 30 pieces worldwide. Only five pieces available here...the rest will be at Duncan's website next week!"
