This patch appears to be a "modern" 1958 Duncan Yo-Yo Winner emblem, reproduced for a certain yo-yo demonstrator. He apparently won a Duncan yo-yo contest in 1958 at the age of nine. It's unknown if he lost the original 1958 patch that he had earned or something else. At any rate, he had another 1958 patch made. The year the patch in this exhibit was actually made is unknown, but it was while he was still alive and still performing yo-yo shows (which he did for many years, apparently. He died in 2015). Original 1958 Duncan Yo-Yo Winner patches have appeared on eBay throughout the years since 1995. Knowing this information, it would suggest that the patch in this exhibit was likely made for the demonstrator before 1995.
