"The Respawn is our take on a modern responsive yoyo. Comfort was a big focus point on this for us. It has a bit of a winged catch zone, to make string tricks a bit more manageable but also to make it an absolute joy to catch when it returns to your hand. Wide pads, and a size d bearing do the rest to make it nice and snappy for those fly away returns.

This model was available during a 24 hour window on Friday, September 20, 2019 from the gsquared website. The date -- 09.20.19 -- was engraved on one halve of the yo-yo. It was the day in which "millions" claimed they would storm/raid Area 51 within the Nevada Test and Training Range in search of extraterrestial life that was concealed by the US government. The event became known by various names such as Storm Area 51, They Can't Stop All of Us, Alien-Stock, and Area 51 Raid. GSquared capitalized on the hype surrounding the event and created the Respawn yo-yo to remember the occasion. Of course, I completely fell for it all.
Came with one white string, a GSquared-branded pinback, airfreshener, and notebook.
