A special Hummingbird - Nature in Motion - Executive - Hardwood (Zebrawood) vintage yo-yo in original box from about 1986. Made of rock maple by the Country Wood Shop Ltd. of Delevan, NY and run by Brad Countryman. Country Wood Shop was the forerunner to Hummingbird Toy Company started in 1988. Box included a velour carrying pouch, one extra string, and the illustrated "Nature in Motion" yo-yo trick book. Some of these Executive models made from exotic woods that were stamped in gold foil with the hummingbird image and "hummingbird limited" in text. These stamped versions, unfortunately, spoiled the appearance of the beautiful wood that it was trying to showcase.

Zebra wood, a heavy hardwood, comes mainly from the tropical rain forests of Cameroon, Congo, and Gabon in central West Africa. and Central America. It is characterized by its light brown color with dark brown streaks that resemble a zebra's stripes.

Of interest...
At the top of the box, note the visual description of the three styles of Hummingbird competition yo-yos: Classic, Comet, and Executive. This is the first instance that I know of in which "Comet" was used to refer to a butterfly-shaped profile yo-yo. "Flying camel" and "bow tie" are also often used synonymously to refer to the butterfly profile shape.
