Packs of Goody Magic Twirler Strings are quite hard to find, especially this variation of three strings for five cents. Goody yo-yos and string packs, in their heyday, were sold primarily in the eastern United States. It is uncommon to find an abundance of Goody memorabilia in the western United States, even today (2025).
Based on the number of strings and the price, this string pack is likely from about 1930 to early 1940s. While the paper is wrinkled, amazingly there are no tears anywhere on this 80+ year old pack. Aside from the string quantity and price, the design of the Goody Magic Twirler Strings pack remained unchanged into the 1950s.
