An ultra mini yo-yo prototype that is even smaller than the already record breaking Sturm Panzer SS-001 Mini Panzer 2020. At 10.97 mm diameter (without the green rubber rings that went on the outside perimeter; 12 mm diameter with the green rubber rings installed), it is the smallest metal yo-yo ever made available to the public. Known only as the Sturm Panzer SECRET PROTOTYPE (a paradox to use "SECRET" in the name), it was available on a limited basis first in Japan at the Spingear and YoYoRewind websites on October 14, 2020. If you were one of the first 15 to order a SS-001 2020, you had the choice to add the secret prototype for an additional ¥2000. Two weeks later, on October 30, 2020, YoYoExpert sold the same secret prototype for an additional $20 US. It is estimated that a total of 30-45 Secret Prototypes were made available worldwide.
The Secret Prototype -- at least the ones that were sold in the US -- came with the two unassembled brass halves, one set of pink O-rings to install for response, one set of green O-rings to install on the outer perimeter, and one axle. No ball bearing was included with the prototype. That part had to be purchased separately. Fortunately, the same axle and bearing used on the SS-001 2020, could also be used on the Secret Prototype.

"It is a design that inherits the design of YoYoJam Mini-Jam more deeply, and has a diameter of about 12 mm. It is so small that it has not reached a practical level as a yo-yo at this point. We will distribute it as a privilege in the sense that we will inform the yo-yo community of the future prospects. We apologize for the inconvenience, but the quantity of the prototype is small and we cannot distribute it to all purchasers."
