The Mondial from Germany, like this one, carry the Came-Yo name brand. Came-Yo was a german company founded by Harry Bauer, and specialized in high tech aluminum models. The company later sold out to Duncan, and Duncan produced these for a short time with their name on the product.

A followup to the Came-Yo Moonstar, the Mondial was a very high tech yo-yo. Bearing axle, rubber weight rings around the rims, auto lubricating, and a unique click rachetting system for gap adjustment. The user would simply turn the halves relative to each other and with a click, the gap was adjusted. Wider or narrower. And the system stayed tight and secure. It was advertised that the yo-yo gap could be adjusted to the width of a human hair.
