The Duncan Freehand 2 Jack USA edition, with "Bionic" (read: silver) body, likely from the early twenty aughts. In 2005 Jack won first place in the 5A division at the National Yo-Yo Contest. Jack is Jack Ringca, a member at one time of the Duncan Crew USA Yo-Yo team from around the mid 20 aughts.

The Freehand 2 used Duncan friction stickers for the response, ball bearing axle (size A), and extra wide design for easy catches. At the time, the new Freehand II shape was similar to the Duncan DragonFly limited edition and the Duncan DragonFly Enyo. Came with extra string and a red dice.

The number of units made for this special edition is unknown. However, based on claimed production numbers of other special edition Duncan Freehand 2 models from this same time period, it is likely 500 or less. This Bionic edition is hard to find nowadays. It also came in a green body version with the same side caps seen in this exhibit. Interestingly, this version appears smaller in diameter compared to other Freehand 2 models, but is actually the same size. Use the Compare feature to size up this model with another Freehand 2 model.

The tiny red "thing" below USA on the side cap is not part of the yo-yo's design. Instead, it is a stray fleck of unknown origin that got sealed inside the package. It clings to either the packaging or the side cap (hard to tell which) through electrostatic means.
