A special limited Duncan FreeHand Zero Project Team Top 1 edition that uses brilliant glowing plastic halves and caps. The yo-yo was made for Project Team--TOP founded in 2000 by Hironori Mii of Japan. Project Team Top was formed with the goal of claiming victory at the 2000 World Yo-Yo Championships. The group was an international team of competitors led by Hironori Mii, Yu Kawata, Tommy, MAYA, Hiroyuki Suzuki, and later Augie Fash. Mr. Mii also goes by the nickname "Off-String Man". A prolific yo-yo competitor, Hironori's contest career began in 1999 and spanned more than a decade. He is responsible for the production of www.yo-yo.jp (last access February 14, 2021).
The yo-yo itself uses a size A ball bearing axle along with Duncan Friction Stickers. Came with three counterweights: a Duncan flying panda head character, a yellow rubber ball, and a red die. The included head caricature was one of six random themes: a metallic skull, a monkey head, the Duncan kid head, a flying panda head, and a die with eye glasses and an attitude.
Original retail price: $35 US.
