The Shell is an obscure, undersized aluminum model from Turning Point. Came in anodized light blue, red, and blasted pink. These were available directly from the Turning Point website in Japan. The yo-yo was the result of a cross-collaboration effort between Turning Point Japan and a popular Japanese YouTube channel whose name is translated by Google to "Tree Delta Tokyo". Uses a size C ball bearing axle and custom Turning Point Shell response pads. The yo-yo was sold without any packaging.
Unfortunately, this model suffers from a very common problem among modern throws: no name or other unique identifying marks engraved anywhere on the yo-yo. Not a good way for a quality yo-yo maker to leave a memorable legacy or to help someone unfamiliar with the brand identify it years later.
Original retail price: 3.980 Yen JP (about $38 US).
