A Duncan FreeHand Zero from December, 2006 with blue body, and black side caps with a white imprint of the Infinite Illusions girls (aka the "Yo-Yo Chicks") on side A; side B has a white imprint of the standard Duncan Freehand Zero logo. Used a size A ball bearing axle. According to the yoyoguy.com website, the production number was supposedly 150.
As with all special edition Duncan Freehand Zeros from this time period, the yo-yo itself was exactly the same. The only difference between editions was the body color, side cap color, and imprint. Essentially, if you were collecting these editions, you were just collecting colors and side caps. Yomega used this clever sales gimmick (same yo-yo, different side caps and colors) to the hilt with their workhorse models Raider and Fireball in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
After a Freehand Zero package was opened, you could easily swap bodies and side caps from other Freehand Zeros to create new variations. For that reason, these special editions are best collected in their original, unopened packaging.
This special edition Freehand Zero was sold exclusively from the long defunct yoyoguy.com website where the Infinite Illusions online store was located.
