A responsive, plastic butterfly yo-yo created by Freshthings of Japan, Medicom Toys, and Peanuts (comic strip).
There were three yo-yos that made up the Peanuts series. The yo-yos themselves are identical in weight, diameter, width, and material. Used a size A ball bearing axle. What was different between the three models was the yo-yo color and matching box color -- red, yellow, or blue -- and the comic strip that was shown.
For the yellow version, the yo-yo box included the first frames of the August 16, 1966 Peanuts comic strip, featuring Charlie Brown and Snoopy. Side A of the yo-yo is the fourth and final frame of the strip. Instead of printing the thought bubble "COMRADE!!" above Snoopy's head, as in the original strip, "COMRADE!!" was printed on the outside rim near the imprint of the image. The name of the yo-yo was called "Walking the Dog." The date 1966.08.16 on the side of the yo-yo was the original date that the comic strip was published. See the original August 16, 1966 comic strip online!
