Yoyorecreation (YYR) and 44CLASH's second collaboration model in 2010 was an undersized yo-yo whose width was identical to its diameter: 44mm.

Like its sibling, the CLASH, the 44CLASHcube is the second YYR x 44CLASH collaboration yo-yo this season.

More of a novelty, mini yo-yo.

CLASHcube was the first Yoyorecreation model to use a size D ball bearing axle; same size as the ball bearing axles used on Hspin yo-yos.

Note to collectors
The 44Clash Cube -- and other YoYoRecreation models from this same time period -- often suffered from blemishes on the body due to their manufacturing process. Despite these blemishes, the yo-yos were still sold to the public at full price. The 7075 aluminum used for Yoyorecreation yo-yos was durable enough but apparently difficult to anodize, resulting in cosmetic imperfections. While these blemishes had no affect on play, you should be aware of them, especially if you are a collector of YYR models and want a perfect, unblemished yo-yo. The blemishes often appear as pin pricks of missing anodizing on the body, especially near the outer response pad area. The new yo-yo in this exhibit has two pin pricks of missing anodizing, one on each halve, near the outside perimeter of the response pads (see Internals picture). The exact same quality problem -- that is, two pin pricks of missing anodizing, one on each halve, near the outside perimeter of the response pads -- is also found on the YoYoRecreation Messiah. Clear evidence that this issue was a recurring problem among their 2010 yo-yos.

Original retail price: $135 US
