The Slo-Yo from Ken Picou/Design in Wood was made out of hard maple and finished with linseed oil. This version also had a "splash paint" job applied to it; thin streaks of neon yellow, neon green, and pale blue. According to the Ken Picou/Design in Wood brochure, it was "considered the finest inexpensive yo-yo available" back in 1990.
