Released March 1, 2018, the Mono is a 100 series mini yo-yo from YoYoFreaks. It is essentially a remake of YoYoFreaks' bi-metal model Hashtag released in May, 2017, but without the stainless steel rings. As with nearly all undersized yo-yos, this maker touted the same old redundant and tiresome mantra "big play in a small size" that nearly all undersized yo-yo makers proclaim.
Specs for this model are identical to the YoYoFreaks Hashtag. The Mono was sold only through the yoyobestbuy.com website and was about $33 less than the Hashtag because of the mono aluminum body. Uses a size C ball bearing axle. The color scheme on this model was known as High Fade. A total of nine in High Fade were available for sale.
